The wear we see on our weapons may actually be just to a matte surface treatment, and not affecting the Tenifer conditioning of the metal itself. Regardless, the surface wear appears to be exaggerated by the lighting conditions under which it is viewed.I made this cross post with photos only because the larger photos were already in place for comparison.
