I've heard polymer ppk also...Weren't there rumors that walther was going to be debuting a nifty new pistol we'd all want at this year's shot? Any predictions?
A pistol caliber carbine? A full size P99? 10mm P99? 1911 style P99?
I heard Walther was coming out with a .380 on the P22 frame. I think I also heard they were coming out with a 9mm on the same frame. I can imagine the .380 but 9mm...? Can't remember where I heard/read this but I'm sure it was someplace on the internet, so who knows?

I have mentioned this a few times.... and unless the Walther Rep was making things up this new pistol is not gonna happen till later this year....
The rumor mill started when I and some others saw the "P99 Special Operations" DVD......
at the beginning it showed a pistol named PPS (I think) and at the bottom it said its release to be SHOT 2007..... so maybe they (Walther) were hoping in 2006 (the DVD was handed out at SHOT 2006) to have the gun ready and it just didn't happen... or the Walther Rep in Germany didn't want any more talk about it.....and told me it is not ready till later....
either way... I guess it is not a full size pistol......but who knows.....
I think we might want to wait for some people to come back from SHOT and see what they will tell us.....
