This was a interesting and suprising auction to watch play out. I really expected it to end somewhere in the $500 range. I had hoped to be the owner with a max bid of 650.

This is/ was the gun writer J.B Woods pistol. He was a big proponet of the Double Deuce concept. Desert Industries was the second attempt to get this ball rolling of an American TPH, back before Interarms contracted to make them in Alabama. I was involved as an engraver with the early days of Steel City Arms and did this gun that was the cover of the Guns magazine in 1985
I still have three Steel City Arms guns that were engraved by me.
