Only Walthers I've owned are my [2] P22's, has anyone mentioned to them there safety's should be down when fire?
Or are they trying to confuse us in case of war?
Walther PP, PPK are same way. I think logic might be that the safety lever is pointing in bullet direction when gun is live so it is tactile in the dark?
I was thinking it was positioned like that more for safety. If anything were to happen gravity would bring it down into the safe position versus coming down into the fire position. Just a thought.
