Anyone heard anything about S&W issuing the PPK soon? The 2003 Walther catalog shows availablility as late 2003, but no one around me has them.

Thanks for the response guys. I was actually waiting for the S&W version because of the 'tang', or 'beavertail' if I understand you correctly. I heard that the older ppk has a tendancy to bite, and I figured that the extended 'beavertail' would eliminate that.

I hadn't heard of the ppk/e. Do you have a reference where I can find out more?

As I understand it now, you cannot buy a NIB PPK. No one is currently making them.
