I might be retireing my PPK/s as my main CCW. I picked up a Star Firestar in 40 on 31Dec. I've been packing around house last few days and few oz, more in weight isn't noticeable to me. Tomorrow will be the test,if it stops raining so I can go out and fire it. I like the way it feels in my hand and if runs 100% well I'll most likely retire the PPK.
40 just has a lot more power than 380 and pistol is almost same size as PPK a little ticker across the slide, main difference and can carry C&L . Will wait and see.

I have accumulated a lot of handguns over the years.
My favorite for concealed carry has become the Glock Mod 36.
45 acp, 6 rd magazine, slimmer profile than any other Glock, and almost the same size as the Mod 19 Glock, excepting width.
It's very easy to carry loaded with 185 gr. ammo.

I gave up carrying my Walthers years ago. I feel more comfortable carrying anything from 38 special and up. I don't think .380 and smaller calibers do as good a job stopping bad guys.
Just a suggestion.
