I noticed yesterday that the rear sight on my P99 is "loose". I just happened to push on it and noticed some movement. I can move it from side-to-side maybe 1/16th of an inch with moderate pressure (I'm not trying hard to break it!)...although it doesn't seem to be moving around on its own or when I shoot.

Is this normal? Since the sight is adjustable, I assume it doesn't have a screw to tighten it in place like the front blade does. My concern is that it will get bumped and shifted left or right without me knowing it.

Any thoughts or experiences are appreciated!

Thanks for the feedback, guys.

I only discovered it because I pushed on it accidentally...it has never slipped when I was using it. I'm guessing it's because the rear sight is adjustable....the screw mechanism just has a little play in it.

I just want to go shoot it some more!!!
