Well, I have put around 500 rounds of 115-124 ball through my P99...I wanna get the feel for some +P powered JHPs...is my gun ready for such a load yet. Has anyone fired +P through their P99? Any problems / suggestions?

I've only put one box of Federal +P 124gr thru my P99. No problems.
I may pick up some of that bulk Speer Gold Dot +P "practice ammo". I have fired off 200 rnds so far of the Non +P Gold Dot practice stuff.

I just finished up 500 rounds of Speer +P+ 115gr. GDHP's.
Purchased from http://www.ammoman.com , these are the re-classified Gold Dots.
The ammo was super dirty, it gummed my P99 up pretty badly.
I don't know if it was all the ammo's fault, or the combination of the ammo, and Tetra GunGrease. Either way, i'm not using the ammo or the grease anymore. I had several failures to go into battery, due to gummed up feed ramp and locking surfaces.
Back on topic.
Your P99 will eat up the +P stuff.

Your P99 is "ready" for it. It is ready for ammo made to SAAMI/CIP/NATO specs. The CIP max pressure limit is 39,200 psi, higher than the SAAMI +P limit (38,500 psi).

You could technically be up the creek w/o a warranty paddle if something goes wrong when ya fire "+P+" ammo though, since it is technically not made to any recognized specs (SAAMI, NATO, CIP).

So don't tell them. ;)
