I just ordered my P99 last week, and I'm eagerly awaiting its (hopefully) arrival this week.

I was looking at this laser:

Does anyone know how these puppies work (i.e. how it installs, how it is set to be accurate), and if they're worth it for anything other then cool factor?

Hey Tom, My own P99QA sports this same Laser and I really like it. It is the BA-5 from Laser Devices who makes the Walther Lasers for them.
It installs easily with the little allen wrench and has a very simple alignment process.Its extremely bright and has a low profile that still allows me to carry it concealed in my holster of choice. The new BA-6 has a quick release design and an optional rail for mounting a Tac Light. I have most all of them available. You can e-mail me for pictures ,prices and more information.
