Just got my threaded barrel. It came in a box along with the thread protector and new captured recoil spring/guide rod. All 3 parts were loose in a factory zip lock bag together, scratching the piss out of each other the whole way. I love paying $200 for new parts that look like they were thrown down the driveway.

Hey Walther, do ya think you could’ve at least spared the expense to individually bag these 3 parts so I don’t have to install brand new scratched up stuff into my $1,700 pistol?

Good grief.

Prior to putting in the little bag to ship, I would bet the parts were stored in a loose parts bin where they banged around anyway.

^^ Nah, it’s quite obvious the damage came from the recoil spring shredding up against the barrel.
