I'm thinkin' that's a coating....not stainless steel. But it does look nice...so does the FDE.

I would jump at the chance to purchase an SF in satin (or brushed) stainless.

Excellent idea!
If you get a chance to hold one,you will feel the takedown lever is very pronounced. It comes very close to the feel of a gas pedal. My thumb doesn't come of while shooting. Plus the Steel Frame Q5 has very little muzzle jump. Its a lot different than the poly version.
I just check with our guy that was running the SHOT SHOW booth, he said it was a custom that was hard chromed. He said we may do small runs of customs eventually but it would not be any time soon.
