After a few months and probably a few thousand rounds, my front sight came loose in the middle of a Steel Challenge match. :( Fortunately, I didn't lose the sight (which came off) or screw, and I used my PPQ M2 as a backup.

I did try tightening it back on, but after two strings, it was coming loose again.

I cleaned it up, when I got home, and use Locktite Blue to secure. Will that be enough, or should I get Locktite Red?

If you use red, you may never get that sight off again. Red requires some 'heat' to get the loc-tite to release. I've used blue Loc-tite 242 for years and never had one loosen up. And, I can still remove the screw with just a little effort.

Thanks! I didn't know that heat was needed for Loctite Red. Good to know, and glad I picked the Blue!
