The aluminum grips are really the only grips I care about now on the steel frames. They are just perfect since they are thinner on the sides and on the backstrap. They're actually not as aggressive as the plastic grips but the ability to get a full grip with my schmedium sized hands makes it perfect for me.

BTW, I noticed in the photo you posted you are using the button headed screws for your grips. Did your new set not come with the flat countersunk headed screws?
I very well could have overlooked them in the packaging. Picked up the grip secondhand. I’ll have to double check when I get home today
