300 rounds fired. Pulled the trigger and "click". Field stripped, reassembled, and "click again... Trigger is dropping no problem. Briken firing pin maybe?

I did not have too much time at home to do a detailed takedown.

Remington UMC. I have used it before, and I even tried a different round for the second try.

We can probably then dismiss the possibility of hard primers. I'd try cleaning the FP channel first and while at it check the FP for breakage.

I'd place my money on a dirty FP channel. Remington UMC is not the cleanest ammo out there. It's actually pretty dirty stuff.

To clean, blast away to your heart's content with a good CLP like Breakfree.

I hear you on the remington dirt factor... I will check the firing pin and channel as soon as I can get to it.

Not enough hours in the day! Thanks Jehzsa!! I will let you know how I make out!
