For range use I found mine will reliably cycle anything brass. I haven’t used any brass or steel cased out of personal preference. That being said I prefer Remington UMC as I find it cleaner shooting. Second choice for me is federal. I tend to avoid whinchester white box as it tends to have more muzzle flash and inconsistant loads. You can feel some rounds are lighter then others as your shooting and after 2 magazines the muzzle already starts showing white residue.
I prefer any 115 gr fmj in brass for range use.
For carry ammo. Right now I'm loaded with Remington UMC 115 gr. JHP.
It works well in all my 9mm handguns.
I have been know to load up with Winchester 147 gr. JHP white box also.
Both ammo are readily available and relatively inexpensive.
