Hello this is my first post and I would like to share with all of you the weaver rail adaptor for pre 2004 model frame. The adaptor enables those of us with this great gun with a terrible OE rail to use any weapons light, laser, etc which uses the weaver style accessory rail. The fit is great and it is not too bulky. Note it does not work with your Fobus molded holsters like the paddle so your probably going to need a universal medium gun fit in a fabric material. Well here are the pics enjoy.

Very cool !!

I've got some nice pictures of my pre 2004 P99 Military with weaver rail adaptor which I would like to share with you, but don't know how to post pictures. If somebody could explain me the procedure (in an understandable way cause I'm no computer wizz) I'll be very happy.

Basically all you really need to do is find a place to upload and store your pictures. Then once you have done this all you do is right click on the picture you uploaded and copy the entire picture location meaning until it gets to the .jpg Then once you have copied the link all you do is click the grey IMAGE button in the post window and paste your link in the provided space. A few places that you can upload your photos for free are Yahoo or Geocities. There are a few better ones out there though. Happy posting.

Where are you guys finding the adapter and how much did it cost? Is it intended for the air pistol version of the P99?

Also, I've had great success with using "imageshack.us" for FREE hosting of pictures I post.

mambro,

I bought my adaptor at Kaehny's (via web) and paid 21,5 Euro, including 16 % taxes and shipping. (I live in Belgium - Europe). Don't know if it's suited for airguns.

Its metal coated in a black paint. I havn't had a chance to shoot it yet since adding the adaptor but I am willing to bet it reduces the kick slightly with the added weight over the front of the barrel.

Indeed, the adaptor is made of cast metal thus rather heavy for its size. By adding a little weight in front it improves the overall balance of the gun and the shooting performance
