My wife has a FE PPS, neither she nor I have experienced any issues with the gun. Friends who are either first time shooters or inexperienced have had several FTE caused by limp wristing.

I have both but could only vote for one :(

Anyway, both of mine have less than 500 rounds out of each and neither has had any issues whatsoever.

11 votes with 4 locked slides?

There must be others with positive experiences.

Got a replacement Black for my FE that slide locked.

300 rounds with no issues at the range today. It does feel better then the FE, sub-frame seemed to flex less when I pull hard on the trigger with the slide off.

250 more rounds today for a total of 550 on my black PPS. One failure to lock back, but I might have had my thumb on the slide release that time. No other failure or hiccups and damm accurate.

I like it! It will come along for my next IDPA match :)

My black PPS (14XX) was perfect right out of the box, but after about 200-400rds went belly-up..

Probably ejector problems. The fired round in the chamber would not eject, and the next round in the magazine would try and feed, locking it's nose under the round that did not eject..

Total lockup.

S&W sent me a RA and UPS picked up the pistol for warranty repair earlier today.

I've put about 100 rounds through my FE with no malfs of any sort. Have not shot it in awhile, however.

1250 mark with FE 888 slide locked.

1210 rounds of WWB 115 grain with no issues.

40 rounds of 147 gr. is all it took.
