What happens to the owners and users of the original q5.
I spent my hard earned money on a walther only to find out that
mine is out dated a week after buying it.
All attention is now on the all metal grip and nothing about the old outdated
Q5.
Sorry about the rant, just hate the fact that my new gun is
now going down in value.
So I guess Walther should never do anything new then?

I don’t understand why you are ticked. A the Q5 SF is almost 2X the price. For all you know, this may drive up the value of the plastic Q5s but the Q5 is also a lot lighter which some view as an advantage. Don’t believe me...holster both of them for a while.

The SF doesn’t make the Q5 obsolete it’s just a new offering and a brand expansion.

While many are “upgrading” they are paying $1300 to $1600 to do so. No thanks. I have a CZ TSO on the way.

You have a great gun! I have 8,000 to 10,000 rounds through mine. Never a hiccup.

Of note....I did fire a a CZ TSO last night. It’s good enough to sell all my children 🙂

Anyway, the trigger is simply AMAZING. But it’s also a different gun from many other options and very much a niche.

I put only 10 rounds through it at 25 yards using a 25 yard rapid fire target.

Hit all 10 bullseyes. 5 in the red with open sights too.

It’s heavy as hell....not sure how I will shoot it one handed especially weak hand. It’s a friends gun. I don’t own one......yet.

I was considering selling my Q5 for an SF after pawing one a few weeks ago.

But frankly, I think I would rather keep my lighter Q5 and instead add a TSO.
