Does anyone know if Walther will release the extended magazine in 45 ACP?
An extra 2-3 rounds would be nice.

Can't answer whether or not Walther will offer anything.

I just rednecked it and did my own +2 for my PPQ 45.

Here it is in a DARA holster. The extended baseplate looks like factory..... :D

Nope, I used a baseplate and spring from a FN FNX tactical. The baseplate required some redneck engineering and whackin'. In addition, I had to drill a hole in the bottom of my PPQ follower to be able to use/attach the FN spring.

The FN mag extension looks really nice and I like the Dara holster!
I found Taylor Freelance +4 mag extensions (I hear it's only 3 that fit, we'll see) bought 2 looking forward to those, and Cook holster to fit with my Streamlight TLR-8. Also found a stainless steel guide rod for my Walther 45. Hopefully, these will all be worthy upgrades!

I’ve been running the FNX baseplates after you mentioned it some time back. I ended up using the extra powered Wolfe springs for the PPQ though, no drilling required but your way is cheaper.;)
