Just purchased a used 4” PPQ 22 and came with three 10 round mags. I tried to disassemble them but the floor plates seems to be epoxied, is that normal? Additionally, can these be converted to 12 rounds.

Hot Water

Stand the magazines in turn in a cup of boiling water, this will loosen the epoxy sufficiently for you to be able to slide the bottom caps off and then remove the white plastic spacers to then fit an extra couple of rounds ,

I did get butt plate off, I could not get “spacer” off. I ordered the butt plate holder for the 12 rd magazine from Walther and all is good.
Part #510.600.04.1
$3.75 each

Thanks for the replies.
