I have a Walther PPK/s and want to make it into a PP. I have a PP slide and barrel enroute to me. Is this possible? what else do I need?

You might need a new recoil spring. Other than that, I can't think of anything. Let us know how it goes.

By the way, why did you want to convert it? Just curious.

If you have a newer S&W made PPK/S (PPK/S-1), the PP slide may not mate up with the frame at the rear. I'm not sure, but they did mess with the frame a bit back there, and the mating surfaces may have changed. Does any one know for sure?

I like the sleeker look of the longer PP slide. I know it's not much but it just points better for me.
I have a German Walther so the slide should mate.
I will let you know how it turns out.

Thanks for the info

Slide and barrel have arrived. Now need instructions on taking off the old barrel and installing the new one. It looks like I can remove the pin and knock/take out the old one. Then just reverse the procedure for the new one. How would I press the new one in? Is there some information on the web I can get. Tried a search with google and came up empty.
