PPK Hammer Release?

Is the PPK hammer release suppose to wiggle around, at least up and down a little? It is the triangle on the left side of the frame when you get the slide off.

I just posted a question that may be related to this. I am looking for a hammer release for my PP and find that Numrich (gunparts) lists 8 different sizes, by thickness. A skinny one would probably wobble a bit in a gun made for a larger one. I don't know why the various sizes. Plum2020
Thank you, very informative. My problem is that my PP does not have a hammer release. Interesting that it functions without it. It has been converted (I am sure post issue) to a DAO gun. The cocking piece was milled to remove the "lip", and the hammer spring was apparrantly lightened and maybe at the same time the hammer release was removed. It is now a very smooth operating DAO PP, (not sure about the safety issues - but it does not "slam fire"), but I am putting it back in original condition, looking for an original cocking piece, and a hammer release.
