Police Trade in

Gulfblue,
Your PP is a police trade in. Check the left side of the frame for police marking. I have a 1964 PP with the serial marking in the same places, slide and magazine. My is from the State of Hesse, City of Marburg (MR). See photo's. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the help.Mine does not appear to have a city mark.

Is just the city mark (the letters) missing or is there no marking at all? All Hessen pistols had the coat-of-arms emblem, with or without additional city identification. Markings from other states can also be located elsewhere on the gun.
