I disassembled my PPS M2 and think I understand where the peening issue is stemming from. Basically when the disconnector is activated by the slide moving rearward the trigger bar is allowed to jump up and away from the rails. By adding a 3mm washer to the trigger on the slide release side of the pistol it seems to eliminate play and prevent this from happening. I had to sand down the washer slightly with 320 and 600 sandpaper to get it to fit. In addition moving the trigger back and forth immediately seems smoother.
At this point I cannot dry fire or live fire as I am having trouble with reassembly. The barrel locking spring does not want to cooperate. See my other thread here:
