I've got a p99 9mm which fails to eject PMC 115 JHP reliably. The round will get stuck 3/4 of the way out of the breach, holding it open.  With much effort I can reduce the frequency of the problem by changing my grip, but it seems I shouldn't have to. Should I move to a heavier or more expensive round?
I absolutely love my Titanium p99, with this one exception...

I'll second that. Shoot some of the heavier loads for a while to break in the recoil spring. The P99 really likes the hotter loads also.

Did some extensive shooting with hotter loads, all went well. I stepped it down to white-box winchester and 0 problems. So I tried PMC again and had 14 jams in 100 rounds.
I guess my gun just has refined taste in ammo.

115FMJ PMC ammo works fine on my p99, the 115gr fmj PMCs are from South Korea, if that makes any difference.... 124gr FMJ PMC labelled from South Africa, kept stove piping in my p99..
