Traded into another PPK at the gun show today. Cracked non original grips but an extra magazine. This one has a little less wear.

Nice. You sure those grips are repros? Either way that sn is way too early for late war black grips, but nice piece.

Nice, you can never have too many PPK's
They are fake.
These grip plates are original but made in 1976 or later.

I traded my Spreewerks P38 w/ Hi Power holster for the PPK and a Colt 1903. The Colt has been reblued but should still be fun.

Nice PPK. The mag's should be (I believe) one with the finger rest and the second without. Always seems that way with the PP / PPK's I have in what ever calibre...
Your PPK was made around 1936 and would have had the one-piece wrap-around mottled brown "Trolit" grips. Those probably broke apart as they were a bit fragile and replace with the later made black grips.

Have fun with it and the Colt! Let us know how they both shoot!

Two on my bucket list, thought I had a PPK on the way, but the guy came back and picked it up off pawn where I do a lot of business. I'd like to find both of the 1903 &1908 colts.

Even a commercial PPK will appreciate faster than a Spreewerk P38! if the mag in the gun has the same legend "7.65 m/m" on it then you have 2 original pre war magazines! Throwing in the Colt is more than just icing on the cake also

Thanks guys. I’ve shot both and they are both a hoot. Very accurate list pistols.
