Both are great guns.

It seems the biggest difference is that the Match has cut outs on the slide and that the PRO-SD comes with a threaded barrel.

I'd tend to think that the match with it's slide cut outs wouldn't necessarily be better for CCW, but you could also say the same thing about the threaded barrel. I think it's really splitting hairs.

I think if you LIKE the slide cut outs the MATCH is the better way to go.

It's very easy to purchase a threaded barrel for the match if you so desired. It would be much more expensive to get a slide with cut outs as an individual item... although then the PDP Match Polymer is almost $400 more in price which wouldn't seem worth it to me (although I guess you'd have two barrels).


My final thought: The Fullsize PDP is a lot of gun for CCW. Plenty of people carry one but if it were me I'd be looking at the compact versions.
