Just curious to see what P99's every has. I never seem to have enough and always looking for more. In P99's I have
the regular P99 in 9MM & 40 S&W, European 9MM, Military 9MM, QA in 9MM and a QSA in 9MM. For me the Walther is the most accurate pistol. I am in the market for P99's
that I don't have such as P990 Blue or Military or both in 9MM or 40, QPQ, the new stainless and the JB II (hint hint).

I have these two, so far (w/ more to come):

9mm, all-German, military OD with the traditional DA/SA trigger;
installed green/green Meprolight night sights

.40 Auto, all-German, black with the traditional DA/SA trigger;
I plan to purchase & install green/yellow or green/orange Meprolight night sights in the near future.

I have four, all with the standard trigger. Two are chambered in 9mm, and two in .40 Auto. For each caliber, I have an all-black and a Military (olive drab frame) version. The Military ones are the shooters, and the all-black ones are unfired spares. My all-black 9mm is one of the European ones with no importer markings on the slide. Both of my .40 Auto ones are genuine German-made, bearing the "eagle over N" proofmark on the slide, barrel, and frame.

I love its trigger. The SA becomes especially smooth after about 500 rounds.

I just bought my second P-99 9mm. The first P-99 belongs to my son a very early model with a four digit serial number. I loved his gun but didn't like the DA/SA trigger. My sons gun is all German with a Interarms logo on the right front. My gun is a Walther P-99QA LE 9mm gun. What surprised me was that it was ordered through a S&W dealer from Smith. The gun is all German with no signs of anything that says S&W or Walther USA or Walther America. There is nothing on this gun in reference to importation marks. It came with three High LE caps. The rear sight is white outline. There is nothing on this gun in regards to an american company. All German proofs. Any thoughts on this?

Whoohoo! Got my P99QA today from Val. Very nice, the QA is very subdued I think and it is a very nice looking pistol. The trigger is very nice, I can't wait to shoot it!

What caliber is your new QA?  I love mine.  Shoot it almost exclusively now.

It's a 9mm. My favorite

You bet, see my page:
http://www.lenaburgs.net/james/Guns/Walther.htm

Scroll down about half-way. The JB MI-6 1st Edition is the rarest, hardly see any of them for sale, there were less than 100 imported by Earl's Repair Service.

The JB MI-6 2nd Edition has a story behind it, but there have been 4 of the .40S&W's pop up for sale this year. No 9mms have been offered. The story behind them is that Walther didn't get the proper licensing agreement with the James Bond people so they didn't offer them for sale. 1000 were made, but no one seems to know where they are

Cocojo,

I think you purchased a defective P99. This should be sold to me right away because you deserve better. I will take this
off you hands for current market value or will replace yours with a brand new one.
