Seeing recently a detail strip guide being sticky'ed from 2007 for the P99QA (Thank you IMANOLDFART), I was wondering if (yes I searched, but my google-fu is weak) there was a similar guide for the P99AS here?

If not, how much from the QA guide is applicable to recent P99AS's?

I'm not aware of a P99 AS detail strip, make the trigger unsuck guide. :D

If you interest is in trying to make the trigger a little smoother, all the striker deburring/profiling/polishing would only affect the AS during a 'double action' trigger pull. During a DA pull, you're compressing the striker spring on/along the striker.....just like the QA.....not as far or as much as the QA, as the QA is already partially cocked.

All that striker polishing will have NO affect on the AS single action pull.

The top of the trigger bar, where the trigger bar guide rubs is the most important area of concern on both pistols.

Is this what you were wondering about?

thank you! I see more clearly now.

I also looked upon the detail strip guide, as an internals detailing guide. I found, ergonomically, that a bit of filing, and 800 grit sanding eliminated a good bit of polymer mold flash and "rough spots" on both my p99 and p99c. Smoothing the polymer frame and trigger edges so there were no catches.
