Hello all...this is my first post.

I'm a new P99 owner.  Specifically, I recently purchased a 2004 P99QA Titanium Coated .40 S&W.

I like the pre-2003 guns (at least the looks of them).  CDNN still has a number of P990 DAOs in 9mm.  I'm interested in purchasing one....however, I have my fair share of DAO semi-autos from other makers, so I'm undecided as to get a P990.

Any P990 owners out there?  Do you like the gun?  How is the trigger pull?  Can the weight of the pull be judiciously reduced by a pound or two?  Any P990 gunsmiths out there?

Thanks.

Yes, I own two, strictly for collector's purpose, one QPQ and one Military frame

Do you like the gun?
From a collector's angle, yes. From a shooter's angle,

How is the trigger pull?
Long and hard, about 10-12 lbs. Similiar to the standard DA pull on an AS (DA/SA).

Can the weight of the pull be judiciously reduced by a pound or two?
Not that I know of.

Any P990 gunsmiths out there?
Not that I know of.

Regards,
James
