Let me start by saying I really like this version. I picked one up about one month ago, all German proof marks, brand new, and at a real good price. I shoot revolvers(357 mag + 38SP) quite a bit, almost always in double action mode. The transition from shooting my revolvers to the Walther 990 works for me. The DAO trigger is getting much better with use, and all my shots group well. It must be the fact that I shoot my revolvers mostly double action that is the key to my success with this pistol. The quality of the gun, it's fit and finish, are superb. I give this version very high marks, as it does the job for me.
