Greetings.  I just purchased my first weapon and it is the Walther P99 .40cal (Green).  I bought it from my uncle who had it brand new, among other firearms he has. It will mainly be used for learning and self protection in a new position I have taken with my company.   I am awaiting my permit to carry a concealed weapon and then my wife and I are going to take a free safety course offered by my Sheriff's dept.

Looking forward to learning all I can here.
