I have had my p99 for about a year now and put maybe 800 rounds through it no problem. I really like the p99, and was wondering what would be some good parts to keep on hand for the gun, like springs for example. I'm specifically looking to keep this gun for a long time and want to insure that it remains functional down the road. Appreciate any help you can provide.

+1. I always like have a critical part or two stored away in the safe. Does Brownells stock any of this, or is it all through S&W?

Call WaltherAmerica...get a recoil and striker spring to keep on hand...really not expensive at all...but I would say that you have plenty of time to wait before you will ever need them.

it is a good thing to obtain a couple of additional recoil spring assemblies. You may also want to purchase a spare striker assembly unit.

Thanks for the help, exactly what I was looking for. About how many rounds would you say that I can shoot through my pistol, before the barrel goes to crud?

Before you "have" to clean it? +1,000 ?
Before it began to loose accuracy? +100,000 ?
