My wife fell in love with the look and feel of the P99 in the OD Military Green. But she wants it with the AS trigger system. Is that possible, or are those two options mutually exclusive.

If they are mutually exclusive, does anyone have any info/eperience on the cost to get a black AS cerakoted to mimic the original two tone look of the OD version?

They're out there, but not as common as black...obviously.

There are tons of people out there who will cerakote a frame. Probably even some in your area.

Was the "Military" P99 model an AS or a QA model?

I remember it had an OD green frame.

Saw one in a pawn shop 3 years ago for $400. Didn't bother because i already had a P99. Still kicking myself.

I had a QA in OD green with the current slide and long paddles. I've only seen AS in OD green with the old slide and short paddles. Maybe they're out there but they're rare. The one I regret not getting is a sand FDE color one as I've never seen another.

I have an original P99 in OD green. It is listed as Military Model and uses the same frame as the LaChase edition did.

If you want it, it is for sale but it will cost you more than a new one.

The OD framed P99s also look great with walnut wood grip inserts which really set it off.
