The P99 has been in production for over 10 years now and I doubt that they will make a P99 in .45....like already mentioned, you do have the choice though of the SW99 in .45 which is also cheaper than the P99
the only .45 Walther worked on in "recent" history was the "Bigbore" which never made it into production and getting information on it, other than in the big Walther book, is like impossible.

Not without significant retooling, no. You would have to create your own barrel, do several slide modifications, possibly modifiy the extractor. Not to mention probably create your own magazines.

Going down in caliber is one thing, provided the mfg already makes said caliber. Going up in size is another matter entirely.
