Hi. for you fellas with the P99 and the P22.
How do you compare the ballance of your P22 with which bbl compared to your P99 in 9mm?
I have the P99 9mm and would like to get the best P22 for training.
Which bbl the 3.5" or the 5" bbl most resembles the ballance of the P99.
As a comparison I find the P99 9mm to balance excellent whereas the SA XD9mm I find top or front heavy.
Thanks JB

I have the P99 9mm and the P22 3.4".
Keep in mind that the P22, as you probably have seen is about 75% scale to the P99, and is also much lighter in weight, overall & forward. Grip size tends to be too small for very large hands even with the large backstrap (each shooter can adjust his/her grip hold & trigger finger position accordingly). As far as balance goes for a companion training piece, I prefer the 3.4" barrel. Note also that the 3.4" version is a bit easier & quicker to take down for cleaning.
If you have not already, I suggest you go to a shop and handle both, or even better, rent both at a Range if possible.
