Can anyone tell me what " SELBSTLADEND " means. I am new to the P5, one of which I bought at the Hampton Gun show yesterday. It has BMI with a line though it. An eagle N stamp and the eagle on the other side of the slide.
It needs a good cleaning and then to the range to fire her up.

It means "selfloading" or "autoloading"

there is already a post on the BMI Marking... just search it here... it was the department designation within Germany
