Hello, I am brand new to this site and I have some questions about a pistol I have. I have a P38 ac41. I have the holster as well. I can find 3 matching #s on the left side of the slide, the left side of the frame above the trigger and one under the front which is under the barrel, the 7376 f. I have 2 magazines with the pistol, one has no marking on the bottom, which I believe is the original and a second one with 5734 a on it. I would be interested in finding the value of this pistol and if it was possibly used in WWII. There seems to be other small random symbols and numbers on different parts of the pistol. It is in pretty good condition but the bluing is worn. I guess that is expected for a gun of it's age. Thanks for any help.

It's really hard to give you a definite answer either way, there are too many variables. If it was an ac41, then you would have to assume it was used in WW2. They didn't store them for the next one!

Post pics that we can see what you have. Then we could be of more assistance.
