Sorry to bump an old post of mine, but I just wanted to mention that I love this little pistol. 1200 rounds now (post receiving it back from Walther) and running strong. Haven’t had one FTF or FTE in ages! Also started using dry moly as the lube on the rails- I’m digging it!

I replaced my guide rod with the Galloway. Since using Remington Thunderbolts and Golden bullet no failures. I'll have to try the dry lube.

Good grief....here is a couple of hours shooting at 21' and 25 meters. Old 5" pistol. It will cycle these bottom feeders fine. This was when RGB and Fed ammo was $6 for a bulk box. I'd routinely fire 500, 1000, 2000, sometimes 3000 a day. There are still some in the bottom of the safe. Guess we will never see those days again. 1917

You can rub that moly on the barrel sleeve, bottom of the breech rail, sear and grooves/rails. Q Tip. It won't build up a thick layer so no point in trying to make it. 1917
