I called Earl since I couldn't find a used P5 at a reasonable price. I've been looking for the last week or so.

There was a very nice new one at Auction Arms, but was more than I wanted to spend. It was new in the box and get this..the serial number was 046. Probably the second or third day of production on the P5.

Mine has just edge wear on the high spots and comes with everything it's supposed to. $599.

Sounds like a good deal to me. Didn't the P5 cost over $1000 when they first started selling them here in U.S.?--Leigh

MSRP was $999 I believe. Probably sold for around $900-$950 at the counter.

It came yesterday. It shows practically no wear anywhere at all. You really have to look close to see it. Earl really under-rated this one. I'm happy with it.

It's third-year production, IB, and has the first variation mag release. I like this one better. It's faster and easier to work than the later one.
