I've spent the past few days TRYING to like my new P99. It's an all-German Military in .40S&W. While I LOVE the 9MM version, the .40S&W version is a different story.
Using SPEER 165 grain Gold Dots, SPEER 165 grain TMJs and UMC 165 grain FMJ ammo, I get TERRIFIC muzzle blast accompanied by significantly more muzzle flip than I had with my Glock G22.....and to top it all off, a very tender spot where the edge of my trigger finger rubbed(?) the hump Walther sees fit to place in the P99's trigger guard.
So....I'm gonna sell/trade it for something else....probably a Beretta 92 Elite II....hopefully.
