As to whether or not I have an "all german" Walther or not. My serial number does not have the "6" in it, and all of the parts--slide, barrel, etc have the eagle over N mark, but the front of the slide says "Smith & Wesson" too--what's the deal? Anybody know? Do they all say that? (I looked in the FAQ, thats why I'm asking...)

Ok, never mind--its the importer mark...phew, was a bit worried for a second there when I read Smith made some of the walthers...

Don't feel bad, confusion is a constant state for me. I have the exact same one in OD.

I like those OD ones too--might just have to have one of both one of these days...

I'm hoping they come out w/ a 357 sig, but I wouldn't mind a 9mm either I suppose if I need to come up w/ an excuse...
