Notes: Pistol has been through two of Vickers Pistol Training classes with high-round counts, and I shoot regularly. I don't think anything else on the market holds a candle to these guns. Although I am quite happy with my PPS for when I wear form fitting shirts. Also, I did a full detail strip to clean the gun once and really regretted it. was after about 3,000 rounds and although it was extremely dirty, it was spot clean on the internal parts once I pulled them all out. I don't think a detail strip to clean this gun will ever be necessary, and I don't plan on doing it again.

Model: PPQ First Edition
Barrel length: 4.6"
Caliber: 9mm
Age: 1 Year +
Round count: 1,500
FTF (feed): 0
FTE (extract): 15+
Other failures: 0
Notes:

Noted 15+ double feeds as a result of failure to extract while performing test with 850+ rounds of 9mm Brown Bear, and no cleaning or lubing of the firearm for 1000+ rounds. Even after several FTE/Double feeds normal brass ammunition functioned 100% fine. Likely result of lacquer coating on Brown Bear 9mm ammunition.

Yeah that lacquer coat just melts off and gums up the barrel making the casing stick to the sides of it. Happens in AR's all the time with the same brand stuff.

Olsoul holds the title right now... who will catch up? :)

@Serenity: I use www.rangelog.com. It's nice to have a place to log all my shot strings, upload target photos, log repairs/cleanings, and track cost data. Better still you can use the iPhone/Android app to log from the range. Also if you ever sell your firearm you can generate a PDF report for the buyer that covers a robust history of your weapon.

Do you guys write down exactly how many rounds you shoot or are they educated guesses?
For me, this early in the handguns life (not a lot of rounds through it) I just calculate it simply by the amount of ammo I have purchased vs. what I have left. I don't calculate range trips etc. I just count up empty boxes - much, much easier. :D

Notes: FTF's are similar to that in the .40 FTF thread. 99% convinced it is a tight magazine spring on an after market, Walther original magazine.

Notes: The FTF's happened in the first month or two of PPQ ownership when i was shooting private reloads that I bought from a stranger off a gun forum. Never had another in the ~7,500 rounds since then, so I'd blame it on reloads out of spec (OAL)
