I found a P99 in OD green today used for $450. It is an 03 model and other than a little holster wear it is very nice condition. It is in 10mm. If it was a 9mm I would be buying it today.

Ya, I knew that just wrote it down wrong. I had 10mm on the mind when I started to write the post.

A true full power 10mm P99 would be a sweet gun. Watered down 10mm need not apply as we already have the .40, of course. I'm not sure how tall a 10mm cartridge is and if it would even fit in a P99 grip. This is an interesting snippet from the Wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/10_mm_Auto):
