Greetings gentlemen and ladies,

I'm new to owning Walther firearms. The P5 is my first Walther as I'm mostly a Colt DA revolver fan. Anyway I noticed that my P5 has a number 4 located on the front left hand side of it's rear sight. Does anyone have any idea what that means?

Thanks,
Dave

It signifies the height of the rear sight, which is selectively fitted at the factory to obtain zero since the front sight is fixed.

you can obtain other rear sights through Earl's repairservice
also from what I understand the rearsight of the P5c which has 2 dots on the rear sight will work on the P5

P5c rear site has dots huh? I guess I'd need a "4" if I were if I were to order one.

Thanks guys,
Dave
