Can someone help me?
I recently purchased a Walther P5 from Earl's Gun Repair Service, an authorized Walther dealership in North America.
The invoice says that the particular model I bought was made in 2001.
But in one of my gun books, "Pistols of the World, Fully Revised 4th Edition," P5 production is listed as 1977-95. I could not find this same fact anywhere else in books or online.
I called Earl's Repair Service and asked about this, and I was told that the P5 is still manufactured by Carl Walther Waffenfabrik of Umarex Co. in Germany.
Is this true? Is the P5 still manufactured anywhere?
