Just saw it on Instagram:

Compatible with both steel and polymer framed PPQs, adjustable pre-travel, over-travel, and weight. Also different trigger shapes. Flat/curved.

Pretty exciting!

I’m guessing they will show up in the Walther store when they become available.

Here is what is on the PPQ Facebook Group:

Bret Vorhees : Michael Watson without releasing too many details [emoji51] it is entirely adjustable. Take-up, over-travel, weight, trigger reach. It is truly the first of its kind

Bret Vorhees: Larry Vickers himself said it is better than a tuned 1911

Bret Vorhees: It will be soon. 60ish days

More new accessories coming from Walther:

- Trigger spring kit
- Extended mag release
- Magwells and +2 basepads as seen on the SF Pro, apparently in Blue or Black aluminum and another made of steel.

Really exciting to see these types of products coming from Walther. Looks like they really are going all in on the competition market and the PPQ line in general.

They seem to be advertising the triggers and a complete drop in on the European Walther site. Still no way to purchase though.
Rather odd description for something titled as "drop-in". The variants description seems to clearly indicate the parts are the same for all PPQs.

The installation is carried out by the Walther Master Shop in Ulm and includes an optimization of the sear engagement.
Would love to buy walther branded mag extensions and magwell for my polymer PPQ Q5.

The picture shows a trigger bar assembly, numerous shoes and most important a complete sear assembly....Hence the need to state 'The installation is carried out by the Walther Master Shop in Ulm and includes an optimization of the sear engagement'.

The amount of sear engagement is directly related to creep....more sear engagement means more creep, while less sear engagement means less creep.

Its to be noted that adjusting the sear engagement to reduce creep to the point that there's virtually NO creep, means you've got a pistol with minimum sear engagement. Meaning a gnat could fly by and fart, and the vibration could jar the sear off and release the striker.

This would be one of the reasons this trigger system needs to be installed, adjusted and optimized by a qualified gunsmith. Or, and I go out on a limb, someone that fully understands the mechanical operation/function of the trigger assembly.

I'm tempted to get the new SF but not with this trigger. I'll wait for Apex to come out with their "safe" straight face version. That might be a while but ,IMO, will be worth the wait. If I was a MD and this gun showed up with this Expert trigger (no trigger safety and a gnat could send off a round), I'd ask the shooter to use a backup gun. IMHO, it's not safe. I like the concept; it's just missing one very important element.

When I said a gnat could drop the striker, that's ONLY if the trigger mechanism is NOT set up correctly. If installed and adjuisted/optimized by a certified installer, then a farting gnat won't be a problem.

This trigger is NOT designed to be used in a self/home defense pistol. Its for target shooting or IDPA, etc.

I'd love to have one of these triggers to run in my PPQ 5" target pistols....if I did IDPA, I'd be okay with that too. Just not in my HD/SD pistols.
