Good to read about you again. If anything, let me encourage you about purchasing a PP Super. My all-time favorite. Because of your location, you Sir, are one of the fortunate ones that can readily obtain Hirtenberger(Hirtenberg) 9x18 Ultra (Police) ammo. This round is nowhere to be found commercially here in the US now. You should also have access to an endless supply of Geco 9x18 Ultra ammo. Not to mention Fiocchi.

I have one, sweet shooter! You should be able to find one in the home country.

And if 9x18U ammo becomes intolerably expensive, it will also accept, without harm, .380 acp ammo. Btw, sold my P5 sometime ago. Actually, the only Walther I have left is the PP Super, and it is definitely going nowhere.

A buddy in Australia reported many years ago that these pistols had been imported onto Oz with a bunch of ammo about 22 years back.

The folks in Oz found out that they worked just fine with the standard .380 (9mmK) and the sales of the very expensive Ultra ammo plunged.

I cannot verify this but the source is a very knowledgable dealer in rare autoloaders."
