Just shot 500 rounds in my new P22Q and not one problem. It was fun.
At the end of the day my thumb hurt from loading all the mags!
Remington Thunderbolts bulk 500 rounds. $20.

Got to get some more today, now that I know they work for me.

Gun was a little dirty but wiped right off. All is good!

Welcome to the forum, and good report. I had good results from Remington Golden Bullets, and CCI Muni Mags and CCI Blazer.

Welcome to the forum. I've always had good luck with Remington Thunderbolts. Some claim they are dirtier ammunition but I clean my weapons after every outing.

Welcome OzarkDave. The only problem I've had with Thunderbolts is them leading up the barrel. That non plated ammo can lead up a hot barrel. Plenty of elbow grease will remove it though. 1917

Buy an uplula for loading all those rounds. Sure has saved my thumb :)

When you got your new P22 Q did it have the Captive Recoil Spring factory installed?

Thanks. (I just ordered a new P22 Q and cannot tell if the new ones have the captive spring or not.)

Congrats Ozark Dave! I just picked my P22q with the nickel slide this weekend. Right out of the box shot about 300 rounds. It ate up CCI Velocitors and a few Stingers a buddy gave me, American Eagle HV, CCI Mini-Mags, and supercheap Armscor 36 gr. High Velocity - few problems, lots of fun! The only cartridge that had repeated issues: Federal Gold Medal Match HV. Failure to extract and stovepiping. Not fun...
