Hi, can anyone give me a few websites to find a european P99 in a 9mm Titanium coated. Is the German model better than the S&W walther and why? I like the look of the Titanium coated but what does the Titanium coating do? Any help on this subject would greatly be appreciated. Thanks, Jeff

The thing about the titanium version i dont like is that on the left side of the gun it says "TITANIUM COATED" in really big print.......sorta silly lookin, i preferred the looks of the QPQ version, but im sure Walther did the switch for a reason.........

as far as any version being better (Euro Vs. US marked) its only a matter of esthetics. the smith gun and the one earl says are the same guns, its just Earls has no big ugly import marks on the slide.
Function wise, if you could call it that......the rear sights on the Euro version are like a Glocks, U shaped.......whereas all US ones are 3 dot. Personally i prefer my Euro P99 over the US one.............just taste i guess
For me, I think its a mockary to have another Manufactorers name on a Walther gun........
